Situated directly on the beach front of Copacobana Beach, the hotel has an idyllic location and is also just a few minutes from the centre of Rio and is easily accessible to both Santos Dumont and Galeao international airports. All the rooms are in good condition with sixty per cent being very large and the remainder large. They are traditional and decor is that expected of a top deluxe hotel with antique wood furnishings throughout. In keeping with the rest of the hotel, a high standard of cuisine is offered. There is an a la carte restaurants, 'The Cipriani' serving Italian delicacies and the 'Pergula' which has a more relaxed ambiance situated next to the pool serving buffet lunches, afternoon tea and dinner. There is also the Copacobana Piano Bar which is an English style Pub. An imposing, grandiose, traditional structure built in an architectural style fitting of a deluxe hotel. The lobby is medium in size with separate reception and concierge areas. It is traditional throughout with marble flooring and a large glass hanging chandelier. A raised area leads to a variety of small boutiques. This is a very good and famous hotel. Its facilities, service and luxurious furnishings and surroundings offer only the highest quality.
